David Spear Commercials Charity Year 2015 “Help Us, Help Others” Campaign, raising money for Alzheimer’s Society
David Spear Commercials is a new and used van dealership based in Tredegar, South Wales. As we reach nearly thirty years of business we aim to put something back into the community with our new Charity Year 2015 Campaign.
For every vehicle we sell during 2015 we will donate £10 to charity. Each month a member of our staff will chose a different charity to fundraise for.
February was the turn of Sarah, our Company Secretary who has chosen Alzheimer’s Society. This is a charity that is very close to Sarah’s heart and we ask that you help us raise as much as possible for a cause that helps thousands of families a year affected by dementia.
As well as donating £10 for every vehicle we sell during 2015, we are also asking for help of the public to raise money for this great cause.
Carolyn Holt, Community Fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Society in Gwent said: ‘We are extremely grateful to David Spear Commercials for choosing to support us this month. The money that they raise will help us to continue to support people living with dementia and their carers, as well funding our vital research.’
Sarah said ‘Dementia is something that has affected a number of my family members and for us to be able something to help that is very important to me. I would like to thank everyone who helped towards our contribution. I know first-hand how hard it can be dealing with Alzheimer’s but the money raised will help thousands of families. I will definitely be getting more involved with the Alzheimer’s Society in the future’
